the scaled man

A man-like creature with scaled skin observes all.

The scaled man stands over eight feet tall, and his body glows softly green.  His skin is a neverending seam of overlapping scales which bend and curve to allow him total freedom of movement.  The skin on his face is nearly human, however, and only the faintest signs of scales can be seen.  His eyes are dark -- pitch black -- with no whites or any other color showing.  With the way he moves, it seems he has no true legs, but with the deep shadows of the room, it's impossible to tell what is there.  The air of disdain and confidence fills his being, with each who come to challenge him.
