Once of water, but now trapped on land, the mermaid awaits her fate.

Her long, flowing hair wafts about her body, hiding her lack of clothing, yet revealing it also.  Her legs are slightly scaled -- a reminder of her days of water-living.  Large blue-green eyes call to all who enter, to save her from this fate worse than death.  She has been trapped here, land-locked, and unable to leave since the water of her cave has been walled off.  Graceful hands motion to come closer....  Beware.
