The defender of the guardian slumps when not being watched.  As soon as someone enters his domain, however, he begins to drool and gibber at them. The closer anyone approaches, the more insane is his response.  He does not care why someone comes, but only that he must defend his little spot in the never-ending darkness of this tunnel.
