A huge black ball of fur lays curled on the floor.

The fur moves, and a huge nose with eyes black as coals shine in the darkness.  The lips curl, and yellowed teeth gleam.  Claws flex, and six inch daggers reflect the light from the eyes and the tunnel.  This bear is basically death incarnate, and it's quite hungry.
