A crystal monk walks silently past.

The crystal monk appears to have been simply, though lovingly, assembled from a few carved blocks of dark green alexandrite.  His alexandrite robes are unadorned and understated.  He walks past without a word, having taken a vow of silence.  The only sound coming from him is a slight clinking noise as he swings an incense burner from a chain, wafting the smell of sandalwood into the air.
