A guardian of fog stands here, not willing to let just anyone pass.

The uncompromisingly holy guardian is made entirely of white fog.  Its upper body is humanoid, but its lower body twists into a vortex-shape, making it look rather like a tornado.  The guardian is quite capable of changing both its length and its width in an effort to block the passage of those deemed unworthy.
