A crystal croaker calls to its mate across the lawn.

Crystal croakers are frogs of warty green borosilicate.  Despite their disturbingly large size, they are slender, fragile, and peaceful.  However, if attacked, they can shoot out a long fiberglass tongue to wrap around the neck of the assailant, squeezing until all struggles stop!
