What it does
This skill is what lets you make sense of the runes on a magical
scroll, and it is tested every time you recite one. You do not have
to seek it out first: the moment you try to read a scroll the game
gives you a working command of the script. A botched reading still
burns the scroll away to nothing, so read in safety when you can.
