The sword is both functional and beautiful.  Crafted from durable steel, the weapon's grip is wrapped in thick leather.  The pommel is a detailed head of a lion frozen in mid-roar.  The cross guard is the image of a dove with its wings spread.  The blade is engraved with the word 'Morwen' on both sides.  The balance makes it an excellent tool to wield and the design seems to indicate a treasured family heirloom.
