The shed skin of a naga was once quite fashionable in Ixchal.  Used mainly for upholstery of chairs and couches, it was known for its stain resistance. When a clever gnome learned a way to more easily create an artificial version, that he called naugahyde, the original became far less popular.  But some purists still seek out the genuine naga hide by hunting the reptilian humanoids native to the deep jungles of Talam.  This piece was crafted by the nagas themselves into a rather rudimentary shield.
