Pulled from within the gullet of a carnivorous plant, the strength of this armor is attested.  Durable under strong acids and gasses, it seems as if only water has had a real effect on it.  Rust has begun to chisel its way into the interior of the heavy guard.  The long body of the wristguard is solid iron, but its backside has a one-inch gap, which allows for different arm sizes to effectively wear the armor.
