A large flower with bright shiny petals floats next to the path.

Large bright petals clamp together suddenly ensnaring its prey.  The leaves, locked together in an egg-shaped bulb, open and close minutely allowing the sharp serrated edges of the petals to gnaw into flesh.  A fragrant gas wafts from the resin-coated interior, causing sleepiness and dizziness.  The bright, shiny colored petals are tough and coarse; the inner petals have a strange tongue-like texture.  The plant shudders suddenly as it pulls a whip-like root from the water and aims it at head height.
