some Crystal Armbands

The royal armbands are made from long strands of marquise-cut diamonds, held together by links of silver wire.  Alternating amongst the diamonds are yellow and white gems of jonquil crystal that add flashes of color.  The strands must be wrapped in a spiral around the arm and therefore require a good deal of time to don.  The armbands look extremely fragile, but the crystal and wire have been infused with a reinforcing enchantment.
