the Crystal King

The Crystal King of the Southern Reaches sits upon his throne.

King Rupert IV is a muscular humanoid who seems to have been cut from flawless diamond.  Today he sports a sleeveless vest of shimmering samite, reinforced with fine steel threads.  The crown upon his head, a heavy golden band inlaid with pearls and set with a cockle in the brow, hints at his love for the sea.  He welcomes guests who bring news of the outside world and warms up to them quickly, provided they can demonstrate their good will.
