a bone lord

A mound of fungus-covered bones lies here.

A seemingly random collection of skulls, limbs, and dagger like ribs, arises slowly upon shaky mismatched leg bones.  Most of the bones are covered with a pinkish fungus.  This is the bone lord, a fungal colony, which has knitted bones together to form its bulky mass.  Working as one, the bone lord shifts its body composition.  A skull shifts to form a shoulder.  A femur slides into a webbed mass of bones that appear to be an arm-like appendage. The pink fungus thickens on the arm forming a muscle, while more fungus migrates to the leg structures to move the hulking body.
