A studious elf scrutinizes the contents of the room.

The historian is getting old, even by the standards of the elves.  His hair is slowly beginning to thin and the dark black hue is lightening noticeably around the scalp.  His eyes are still sharp and they betray an unmistakably intelligent mind.  His gaze is one of fixed determination and constant analysis however, his stance is light and he appears to enjoy his work quite a bit.
